Having Fun at the PlayGround
The PlayGround Experiment is a networking outlet where playwrights get to try out rough copies of their work among actors in the group. Tonight was my first experience with the group held at Think Coffee in Lower Manhattan, as I assisted, along with Chris Smith (center) and Natasha A. Williams, in reading a scene from Johnnie's Turn, written by my good friend Jeaniene Green (below). The scene was very well received by those in attendance, and inspired Jeaninene to pound the computer some more when she got home that evening. Can't wait to see the finished product. Bravo!
